Book #1 of 'My heart is not mine' series Standalone โMarry Vinay, Aradhya,โ Aradhyaโs soon-to-be brother-in-law said. โToday itself, on this very wedding altar- marry him.โ His words didnโt sound like a joke at all. โMujhe aise mazak pasand nahi.โ [I donโt like such jokes.] โMai majak kar bhi nahi raha hoon.โ Shivang replied. โAapko kya lagta hai, aapke kehne par mai jhat se raazi ho jaungi? Bhuliye mat, ki aap mere behan ke hone wale pati ke alawa- mere kuch aur nahi lagte.โ [Do you really think Iโll agree so easily just because you said so? Donโt forget, apart from being my sisterโs soon-to-be husband, you are nothing to me.] With a smirk, Shivang said, โAur mai kahu ki tum khud apni marzi se shadi ke liye raazi hogiโฆ toh?โ [And what if I say that youโll agree to this marriage willingly?] Aradhya frowned in confusion. โKyaโฆ kya matlab hai aapka?โ [Whatโฆ what do you mean?] Shivangโs face remained blank as he said, โVinay se shadi karo, warna mai tumhari behan se shadi tod dunga.โ [Marry Vinay, or I will break off my marriage with your sister.] A few moments later, Aradhya finally spoke. โThik hai, mai karungi aapke dost se shadi. Par pehle meri shartein toh sunlijiyeโฆ jija ji.โ [Fine. Iโll marry your friend. But first, listen to my conditionsโฆ brother-in-law.] She said the last words with extra emphasis. --- A little later, Aradhya entered the temple. And there, standing in front of her, was Vinay. The moment he saw her, he lowered his eyes, as if guilt was written all over his face. He stepped forward and held his hand out for her. But when Aradhya didnโt take it, Vinay said softly, โTham lo, marte dam tak nahi chhorunga- hath bhi aur sath bhi.โ [Hold my hand. I wonโt leave you till my last breath-neither your hand, nor your side.] For the first time, Aradhya looked straight into Vinayโs eyes.

Standalone Novel Vinay's Parents' Story Enemies. She leaned down slightly to meet his gaze as he sat in his chair and whispered, "Jitni nafrat mujhe tumse hai na, utni nafrat se toh koi yeh puri duniya tabaah karde." (The hatred I have for you is enough for someone to destroy the entire world.) He held her gaze for a moment before a smirk tugged at his lips. Leaning closer until their noses were almost touching, he replied, "Phir toh mujhe khush hona chahiye... kyunki itni shiddat se toh log mohabbat bhi nahi karte." (Then I should be happy... because people don't even love with such intensity.) --- She stopped before him, a smirk playing on her lips. "Doctor Saheb, shaadi kar lijiye mujhse." (Doctor, marry me.) He stared at her as though she had lost her mind. They were standing in the middle of a forest. "Marne ka bahut shauk hai tumhe?" (Do you have a death wish?) A laugh escaped her lips. Slowly, she pulled out the gun strapped to her thigh. "Marne ka toh pata nahi, par maarne ka zaroor hai." (I don't know about dying, but I certainly enjoy killing.) Then she looked at him, her gaze cold and unwavering. "Bheekh maangne ki aadat nahi hai, na hi baat dohraane ki. Chup-chaap mujhse shaadi kar lijiye, Doctor Saheb." (I don't have a habit of begging, nor of repeating myself. Quietly marry me, Doctor.)
